Well, What Now?
Summary
Some how, some way you’ve found yourself neck deep in the Zombie Survival Crew website. Don’t worry, this is a good thing. Whether you wandered in off the street after meeting us at a convention, or had a well-meaning friend slip you the link onto your Twitter/Facebook page, you are welcome and encouraged to participate and browse around the site.
Somehow, someway, you’ve found yourself neck deep in the Zombie Survival Crew website. Don’t worry, this is a good thing. Whether you wandered in off the street after meeting us at a convention, or had a well-meaning friend slip the link onto your Twitter/Facebook page, you are welcome and encouraged to participate and browse around the site.
You may be asking yourself, why do I need to be prepared for the zombie apocalypse? We ask, why aren’t you already? The survival skills imparted on this website will not only help you escape being eaten by a reanimated corpse, but also ensure you are capable of surviving any number of natural or man-made disasters such as flooding, tornadoes, or even a full-scale riot in your home town. You can never be too prepared, a motto we take to heart.
There is a softer, though far from cuddly side to the ZSC. When we aren’t scouring the globe for new recruits, your commanders let their hair down and get to know site members better. We introduce fans of the zombie, horror, and sci-fi genres to movies, television shows, and art they may not have been aware of before. There are also numerous contest opportunities coming up in the near future. (Our prize room is getting somewhat cluttered…)
The ZSC also does it part to help those in need when disaster DOES strike. When we can, we help our celebrity commanders pass on information and aid relief efforts the world-over.
Our Command team includes: Juliette Terzieff, Norman Reedus, Jinxie G., Anthony Guajardo, RC Murphy, IronE Singleton, LK Gardner-Griffie, Sean Patrick Flanery, Neil Brown Jr., Anthony Michael Hall, Ted Raimi, David Della Rocco, James Gonzaba, Jim Burleson, Michael Kenworthy, and many more to be announced soon.
So how do you become an official member of the Zombie Survival Crew? Our registration page is easy, straight forward, and FREE. Once you’ve signed up and confirmed via email, you will be randomly slated into one of our Brigades. Each brigade has a commander and a certain set of skills they are to master in order to help the ZSC as a whole continue to move forward with our efforts. From there on out, how much you want to participate is purely up to you. If you wish to sit back and absorb information posted by the command team, go for it. Feel like you have something to say? We encourage members post their thoughts on the articles posted. Or, if you are an artist, writer, or filmmaker, we’d like for you to contribute articles, stories, art, or videos.
Get it? Got it? If not, feel free to ask us whatever questions you have about the site. We don’t bite, honest! The Command team is here not only to teach you how to survive, but to help you.
Follow us on Twitter (@TheZSC) and Facebook as well!
Thanks. I await my Brigade assignment and any further instructions.
Same here.
Eleven days and no Brigade… I know! They are probably er, fighting over me, uh, I’m over qualified, right? …right? ‘,:\
I’ve not been assigned a brigade yet but I hope one will be assigned soon. Haha
The Brigade Assignment System (BAS) updates approximately twice a month. Occasionally, when there is a server upgrade, etc., it may take a little longer.
We thank you for your patience.
Jinxie G
Yellow Brigade Commander
I know it shouldn’t bother me but I show up on the map as living in West Scenca…. I live in the falls =)
So i have been assigned to the purple brigade but I really don’t feel like I fit that discription … :-/
Awaiting instructions 🙂 Can’t wait!
When will we know when we’ve been assigned?
let me know when I get assigned.. I’m all over it.. thanks
Your assignment has been made. Please check your profile for your brigade assignment as it is updated to your profile. Or you can check the Brigade Map (must be logged in to veiw).
I’m waiting for my brigade assignment (Blue Brigade, please).
I’ve seen on the map there’s someone in my city who is a member of ZSC.
There’s a mistake with my assignment.
I’ve seen on the map I’ve been assigned to Yellow Brigade in Kansas (US) and I’m in Spain (Gijón, Asturias).
Thanks for the catch. Your location is currently being updated and should show changed within the next half hour. All of the assignments are done via database metrics and if the location input is not recognized it defaults to US and usually shows the location somewhere in the middle of the United States (Kansas for example).
Ok I just signed up but think I’ve screwed myself location-wise as my twitter location is the 8th circle of hell. Does that mean I’ll end up in Kansas? lol. I am in fact in Vancouver, Canada 😉
I’ll get your location updated and in the next update of the map, your marker will be moved to the correct location.
I’m ready to fight the good fight… Brigade please? 🙂
The assignments were processed last night and you will find your assignment has been updated to your profile and you can also find your other brigade members on the map.
Thank you so much. I am ready and awaiting my Brigade and further instructions XD
Hello to all. Glad to be a member of the Orange Brigade. Waiting further instructions.
Hello! New member here! Ready and awaiting instructions. <3
I live right down the street from RC Murphy and i was wondering if I could be in the brigade she is in charge of?
Brigade assignments are done through a random assignment process. This is to ensure that we don’t have clusters of brigade members too close together which could result in a brigade being wiped out. The concept behind the assignments is to allow for multiple brigades to come together – each being responsible for specific core items, so no one person has to carry all necessities for survival.
And prior to the assignment – we don’t know who will be assigned to which brigade.
what about the buddy system? 😉
We keep a balance of brigades so if one city falls, the whole brigade and their special talents/supplies won’t be lost to the crew. That being said, all brigades for an area will gather once the Zombiepocalypse kicks off. So no matter what, we’d end up together.
Oh. That makes sense. My worries are settled. Thank you.
I’m new here. Just wanted to say hi.
Ready and awaiting my brigade assignment!
Ready and waiting. also secretly hoping I end up in the same brigade as my favorite cousin (blue) because he only lives 10 min. away from me 🙂
I’m rollin’ the dice for Norman’s brigade.
ok. so I was assigned the orange brigade. (I’m still bringing my cross bow and gun. I have no clue how to use a knife let alone a sword lol.) but I have a Question. Well, maybe I’m just missing it some where but any ways….. Where do you find out where to meet up and with who and which direction to head when it all happens?
Excellent question. We have put together the initial plan for the continental United States and have ZSC loyalists working on creating the sectors for our European crew members now. So to read about how the initial meeting places and resupply stations, read here (must be a member and logged in to view).
We also recently posted a call for volunteers to help provide both information and resources for establishing the meeting locations and resupply stations. To read about how you can help, check this post.
Let us know if you have any more questions.
🙂 Your weapon of choice does NOT have to be the same as your commanders. So bring what you feel is best for you.
ok. Thank you ill take a gander at it 🙂
ok one more question…. What if there is no more phones/electronics. I guess we will have them for a month max but w/o people to maintain the plants and stations I would assume we would have little time before these things are non-existent. So my other question is how would we keep in contact then?
Signed up. ProjectZKO is ready and willing to assist. All the best!
Ready and awaiting Orders
Met you guys at Wizard World Philly. I look forward to taking part!
Ready and waiting guy’s.
Thanks for the add…I’m diggin’ this site!!!
Hangin’ tight here in New Orleans, waiting assignment to a brigade. Guess I’ll go fishing until then!
Your assignment has been completed. Please check your profile for your brigade.
Awaiting assignment and instrustions! I’m ready!!
Your brigade has been assigned. Please check your user profile. ::salutes:: Welcome to the ZSC!
I found myself on the map. I’m in the Orange Brigade. But I’m not from Hanover, MD. Does that affect anything?
Your location does not affect your brigade assignment. The locations are sometimes problematic. If we pick up the twitter first and the location is not specific enough, a guess will be made. Your location has been updated in the our database based on your profile and your Orange marker will be move to the appropriate location during the next update. (Probably by this weekend)
Thanks for bringing it to our attention. *salutes*
Thanks for having me. Glad to be part of the crew
Still waiting to see which Brigade I’m in??
Awaiting my Brigade assignment… Can’t get my paracord bracelet without it and my Go Bag is ready for that bad boy 🙂
Your brigade has been assigned. To locate it check http://zombiesurvivalcrew.com/2010/12/the-crew-where-to-find-the-loyalists/ (I believe you are on Map 2). However, as we don’t have a location for you, your marker has been assigned to “USA” as all are until we have the appropriate location. To have your location updated send a message to Oracle at zombiesurvivalcrew dot com
Welcome to the Crew! *salutes*
Yes! Perfect! Paracord bracelet in green here I come! Thank you! Merry Christmas – keep your blood on the inside xxxxx
Merry Christmas to you too. Enjoy the green paracord bracelet… And Season’s Greetings from the chief elf, herself. 🙂
what happened I’m no longer on the map. Did you guys drop me or what?
You are still a member. There must be a glitch with the maps themselves because I show you in the data. I’ll tinker with it and get you back on there. 🙂
The glitch in the map has been corrected. Sorry for the inconvenience.
How do you know what Brigade you are in??
For anyone registered on this site, you can check your profile. If you joined by following @TheZSC on Twitter, then you can check the brigade maps.

Waiting for my Brigade assignment.
Check your profile. The brigade assignments have been updated.
how do you add a photo to your profile?
I don’t believe we have the option enabled to add photos to the profile. But if you create a Gravatar, it will link through your email address. That way, you control the pictures and it can be used for multiple sites.
Love being a member of the Lt Blue Brigade! So cool that we’ve got the front lines covered by companion pets. We have a Basset Hound named Spanky, scent hound of the Z-Poc. How do we register him? Thanks so much for the enrollment!
Ready to Rock!
