The brigade assignments are done via an algorithm because we need to ensure that we have our brigades evenly matched. Because our premise is by bringing all the brigades together in the event of a cataclysmic event, and each brigade brings different strengths, go bag items, etc. to the muster points, we need to have an even distribution. Also, we don’t want to have all of one brigade in one geographic location because it makes them easier to take out.
