Eat a Knievel: Review for iZombie 308

Let's just address the elephants in the room. Yet again, the Case of the Week boils down to someone dying because a woman slept with a man another man didn't approve of and took personal offense. Yes. We get it. Men are petty, jealous, fragile souls who need constant coddling or they'll snap and kill . . . or subject the world to a television show which constantly belittles empowered women in order to feel better about whatever past trauma pushes this narrative on the show week after week. Lesson learned. Can we please move on to something else as motive for murder on the show? It looks awful for a woman-lead show to have such negative connotations for women's sex lives.

Unfortunately for Doc, the patient-run Serenity Falls Institution for the Criminally Insane thinks he's the one gone 'round the bend to Looneyville. That’s what he gets for wandering away from the group.

A New Mission: Review for Z Nation 302

Last week they whet our appetite with a two-hour flashback movie chalk full of fun for our accidental heroes. When we catch up with the crew in the here and now, it is honestly more of the same ol', same ol'. There's no time gap from season two's finale—Roberta's group is captured by the Chinese on the beach, Murphy makes a run for it on a stolen boat with his zmurphed crew, 10k is MIA, and Citizen Z makes like a popsicle while someone rescues him from the snowstorm. We see nothing from Vasquez. He's either gone for good, will show up dead at some point, or they're saving him to swoop in and save the day another time.

Life After Death: Volume 5

It's never easy to say goodbye to favorite characters on a television show. The Walking Dead developed a reputation—every character fans felt deeply for in one way or another met a ghastly, gruesome death. We don't just miss the characters, though. The actors behind the fallen survivors are talented, caring people who get pigeon-holed into this one moment in their career. They've gone on to do amazing things since leaving. It's time we took a look back at some of the show's more memorable deceased characters and played catch-up with the actors who brought them to life.
