I never thought of a hammer and nails. I do carry a crowbar!
The hammer in my go bag is a Dead On hammer.
Good, solid, well made, ass kicking tool. Get one soon I think the company is going down.
Go Bag done, added: shotgun, 150lbs crossbow with 10 arrows, 9mm, ammo, pocket LED torch, swiss knife (the one with 25 little tools :P)
Excellent! *salutes*
I haven’t put the bag together yet but will also be adding an all-purpose tool (larger swiss army knife type tool), plastic poncho, duct tape, gloves and will need to split the arsenel between my wife and I (hatchet, machete, .38 special with ammo, longsword, pistol crossbow and bolts).
I think I’ll pack my rock hammer. It will serve as a hammer and a pretty vicious weapon as well. Also, I have a great compact first aid kit, measures only 8x6x2 maybe.
Check this out.. I have one in my Go Bag.. It’s called the Annihilator Hammer by Dead On tools.. Pick it up at Home Depot.
