There will be plenty of toys for tornado victims this Christmas thanks to the efforts of Boy Scout Joshua Henderson, 14, of Lincoln.
Henderson decided to help the child victims of the tornado by gathering 800 toys and transporting them 274 miles south to Harrisburg. The project will help him earn the rank of Eagle Scout, a goal he set for himself long ago.
With the highly scrutinized end of the Mayan calendar (December 21st, 2012) fast approaching and referred to humorously as the upcoming “zombie apocalypse” by young adults and teenagers worldwide, UK born and Vancouver based pop-rock artist, Kieran Strange has released “Merry Undead Christmas” a single and music video combo that is sure to deliver a few laughs this holiday season. “I read a story where a gentleman actually spent his life savings building a huge ark to escape the Mayan end of the world,” said Strange. “There’s so much serious face when it comes to this subject, I couldn’t help doing something satirical.”
Five fresh new character posters promoting Warm Bodies are making the rounds online thanks to Summit Entertainment today.
The posters feature Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, and Rob Corddryas characters living and undead, but more importantly, each contains a prominently placed pun, so this series of posters is also a pun run.
The best part? The hour-long special will feature interviews with people actually preparing for a real invasion of the undead.
While the amount of zombie-related media out there is approaching ad nauseam, this particular upcoming special from the Discovery Channel has all the makings of a must-watch.
The Charlotte Zombie Walk will again take to the streets for its sixth anniversary on Saturday. It will be its biggest and deadest event yet, according to organizers.
When it comes to zombie movies we know the drill: some terrible plague or catastrophic event has caused the dead to rise and crave the flesh of the living. Bonds of family and friendship mean nothing to these ambling undead cannibals. They are mindless, soulless and heartless. This is certainly the school of thought accepted by the remaining humans in Jonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies, but one brooding zombie boy might change their minds, and the world.
From Alternative Revolt: The Zombie Survival Crew is much more than a fan site for fans of the undead. Oh no, it is much more than that. This site provides an organized disaster response plan, strategy, and communication network for times of crisis.

The commander of the Green Brigade, IronE Singleton, is always giving shout outs to the Zombie Survival Crew, and the Green Brigade in particular, and today was no exception. When talking with the hosts of DeadDave’s Radio, IronE discussed how important it is to work hard and remain true to yourself, and gave a huge shoutout for the Zombie Survival Crew and its command.
From DeadDave’s Radio: Join hosts DeadDave and Lee Platt as they welcome guest IronE Singleton “T-Dog” of the hit Tv series The Walking Dead!
Our captain of the Special Forces, Michael Rooker, stands out in a crowd and on the screen because he puts his all into what he does… whether it be acting, or interacting with crew members and fans alike, or giving shout outs to the crew. And we’re not the only ones who have noticed what a great guy Michael is.
Here’s what Fast Company had to say about Michael:
Michael Rooker only needed a handful of scenes to turn Merle Dixon into a fanboy favorite. But it was his real-world commitment to bringing the character to life that gave the AMC series its watercooler buzz.
And thanks to Fast Company for recognizing the ZSC efforts in the #MoMerle campaign.
We love our commander of the Green Brigade, Iron E Singleton, and he shows us his love again in a fabulous shout out to the Zombie Survival Crew in his interview with CultureMob.
Here’s what Culture Mob had to say: Another character who has been there from day one (or in the real world, episode 2) is T-Dog. Best known in the show as the guy who drops the keys to the handcuffs that led to Merle Dixon cutting his hand off to escape the cuffs. I had a very cool opportunity to speak exclusively with T-Dog, actor IronE Singleton. Now that the show has been picked up again (there will be a season 3 already announced) the writers are going to have the time to explore and develop all of the main cast including T-Dog.

The new head of our Special Forces, Michael Rooker, no sooner signed on with the Zombie Survival Crew than he was giving the ZSC shout outs in interviews. You have to love that in your head of Special Forces. Anyway, here’s what The Walking Dead TV Podcast has to say:
On this very special episode of The Walking Dead TV Podcast, your hosts get to chat with Merle Dixon himself, Mr. Michael Rooker! Brad, Jordan and John touch on a plethora of subjects with Michael, including his role on The Walking Dead, lost hands, Atlanta heat and Dancing with the Stars.
All this and we still find the time to give away another blu-ray.

We are unaware. But there are those out there were are preparing. They know. They will be ready. Will you? I sat down with Juliette Terzieff, head of the Zombie Survival Crew to ask the tough questions.
